FES Sprinklers Division was appointed to design, install and commission 2no. automatic sprinkler systems as the new college campus to BSEN12845. These works were carried out over 2 sites in Glasgow city centre.

The Riverside Campus was built on the Clyde in place of the Nautical College. The entire main building, including its adjacent halls of residence, is protected with an OH3 life safety system facilitate by twin tanks giving an effective capacity of 185m3 and a twin electric pump set.

The City Campus was built on Cathedral Street and represents the single largest estates development in the college sector in Scotland and provided many challenges which we successfully overcame. The building is protected by over 7,000 sprinklers and is facilitated by twin tanks giving an effective capacity of 186m3 and a main electric pump with a diesel back up pump.
