Fire Alarm Installation at City of Glasgow College, Riverside Campus awarded Grade A status

The Fire Alarm Installation at City of Glasgow College has been awarded Grade A status during a recent audit to verify compliance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008, BS 5839:2013, NSI Quality Schedule FSQS 121 and BAFE Scheme document SP203-1.

The City of Glasgow College, Riverside Campus was chosen by BAFE's licensed UKAS accredited certification Body NSI to carry out a detailed technical and quality audit on the fire alarm design and installation.

The SP203 Scheme provides a means by which fire protection system users and regulatory authorities can be confident that the companies providing fire alarm systems have processes in place to effectively undertake such activities.

The Grade A status is the highest level achievable for this type of installation, a testament to the commitment of the FES team involved with the entire project.

The overall City of Glasgow project has 12 x networked panels and over 3,000 x fire detection devices including aspirating systems and FES Support Services who are carrying out the installation is certified to NSI Fire Gold Scheme for the Design, Installation, Commissioning, Handover Verification and Maintenance of Fire Detection and Alarm systems.
