All staff are actively encouraged to undertake focused CPD covering technical enhancement, customer relations development and management skills training. This generates an ethos of trust and confidence that individual effort will be recognised and personal development will be rewarded. This approach, as the company has expanded, required the organisation to commit to a significant training and development programme to ensure that all staff are able to cope with the demands of changing business expectations.
FES can demonstrate that the services employees provide are recognised in terms of the industry awards received for excellence in service or safety. In the last 10 years FES has received 11 national recognition awards, including the British Safety Council’s Sword of Honour (Health & Safety Excellence) and Globe of Honour (Environmental Excellence). These awards demonstrate that the attention to detail in FES technical compliance training provided through the Integrated Management System which enables FES to provide an almost flawless service when supporting clients in their businesses.
FES have been Investor in People Accredited since 1995, awarded Investor in Young People in 2015 (FES were the 100th compnay to be awarded the IIYP), and also have certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, OHSAS 18001 and currently working at an advanced stage towards ISO 27001.
Gender Pay Gap Report
FES has reported gender pay gap results as per the reporting requirements covered under The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017. The regulations came into force in April 2017 and require companies with more than 250 employees to publish information on their gender pay gap.
