FES Apprenticeship Scheme & Training
As part of FES’s training programme, the development of the FES Apprentice Academy, jointly with Forth Valley College (FVC), is an innovation that is unmatched in Scotland.
The Academy, which produces at least 25 new apprentices for FES group annually was the result of a significant capital investment by FES into FVC. The facilities are also available for young people throughout Forth Valley in a totally unrestricted way and allows individuals and other rival firms to benefit from this unique resource, when putting building services apprentices through the College’s courses.
Whilst these apprentices are generally destined to support the operational services within the FES Group, in some cases the apprentices that show flair in other areas are being further trained to take up posts within the administrative and technical support services management, thus immediately benefitting from the availability of other elements of the FES training programme.
The new Apprentice Academy at FVC was formally opened by Keith Brown, Scottish Minister for Transport and Learning. A video of our Apprentice Academy Launch can be viewed by clicking the play button above.
